Croydon's Biological Action Plan now back on track.

Just recently the Croydon Biological Action Plan has been revived. Chris Slack, and ecologist with Continental Landscapes has been brought in to guide us through it. There have been a couple of meetings at which the various habitat and species action plans have been decided.

These are:-

Habitat Action Plans
Chalk Grassland
Woodland
Cemeteries
Open Water
Gardens and Allotments
Built Environment
Heathland
Parks

Species Action Plans
Bats
Veteran Trees
House Sparrow

Small Blue butterfly

Work on these plans will continue over the next year. If your group would like to get involved with any of the above contact Meike Weiser at Croydon Council meike.weiser@croydon.gov.uk
